Send to KindleWhile it’s tempting to buy items emblazoned with Ireland, few of those are actually made in Ireland. I certainly understand the desire – hey, we have two teddy bears from the Cliffs of Moher, a couple of fuzzy sheep and some Wacky Woolies items floating around our house- I have found that few souvenirs get as much use, or bring back as many memories, as the pieces of jewelry I bring him from our travels. From our Claddagh wedding bands, to the Celtic Knot pendant I purchased on my second trip, nothing I have brought home equals the joy I feel when I put on a piece of Irish jewelry.
On my recent trip I found a new pendant- a shamrock sphere pendant in silver and gold. The image on the advertisement was so beautiful that I hesitated to ask the price, knowing it would be far outside my budget. Thankfully I overcame my hesitation, because not only was the beautiful necklace not outside my budget- it was far less expensive than I imagined it would be.
When I returned home I had the opposite of buyer’s remorse- I regretted not purchasing the Celtic Spiral sphere pendant as well. I searched the internet and could not find the necklaces anywhere- not even on the jewelry company website. I reached out to my friend Leigh Maher at Irish Celtic Jewels. After a bit of research, Leigh agreed that the pendants are, indeed, stunning, and now has them available in the online store!
Leigh was also kind enough to offer readers of Ireland with Kids a 5% on all orders with code ICJ5(there is no time limit on this code- so be sure to save this info for gift giving time!)
You’ll find the Celtic Spiral Pendant, the Shamrock Pendant and the Claddagh Pendant along side other beautiful pieces of Irish jewelry-including the very popular Tara’s Diary bracelet and charms, so be sure to browse IrishCelticJewels.com and make your choices! No trip to Ireland necessary!
Win a Claddagh Ring from Irish Celtic Jewels (contest has ended)
The Claddagh is one of the most well-known symbols of Ireland. My husband and I chose this trifecta of love, loyalty and friendship to seal our marriage. If worn with the crown facing the wearer, the heart is available; if the heart faces the wearer, it has been freely given.
It’s super easy to enter to win this beautiful ring- just follow the directions on the widget below.
