I love participating in the gift exchanges hosted by Irish Fireside. The most recent, Presents for Puck, coincided with the annual Puck Fair in Killorglin. As I thought about what I would do (and the incredible hand made gift I received during the last exchange) I knew I wanted to do something that was original that I created. I’m not a terribly talented person in the arts. But I do love to cook and take photos. I combined those with my love of Ireland and created an 8×8 book of my Favorite Irish Recipes. And since I had a gift code from Shutterfly I kept the book under the $10 value.
I loved the way the book turned out and decided to do a bit of editing and make it an ebook. So, here it is, my very first ebook:
The ebook includes 9 of my favorite- and most requested- recipes including Brown Bread, Irish Stew and Car Bomb Cupcakes. The beautiful images of Ireland are my own. See a sample recipe.
To celebrate my first ebook I ordered an 8×8 hardcover to give away. Simply leave a comment below to enter.
Contest ends September 5, 2011; winner will be randomly chosen on September 6, 2011. One comment per person.
